Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now a Romanian/German actress. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only children from Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into showbiz early and landed up playing lead roles in different TV dramas before she turned 16. The audience was impressed by her role as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. Other Oscar nominated movies featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra's work has led her to be involved in a variety of important national and international projects. Some of these include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. In addition, she has been an official juror for the Transylvania International Film Festival as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
