Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is best known as the star of Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic parts. In addition to playing the roles of a romantic, he has also was a part of action films and thrillers. As a teenager He developed an enthusiasm for acting and performance. He then tried comedy stand-up when he was a teenager. While his stand-up comedy venture did not succeed however, it served as the basis for his future acting career. Inability to make it as a comic, he took on a position as cameraman for a TV cable channel. This job is where he realized he truly wanted to appear before cameras. After that, he was offered a TV part, playing several episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The natural talents of the actor made him popular in television. With great ambitions, he made a move into film and became famous for his comedy parts. He gained even more fame in the role of Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he began his career as an actress and began producing and directing films. He won numerous awards and nominations for his performance in the film Birdman.
